What is blue, green, and sustains an environment for living organisms to live? The answer is Earth; the planet of life where plants, animals, and humans breathe in the oxygen that comes from the atmosphere; knowing that we depend on oxygen to survive, preserving the atmosphere should be important enough to take care of it; sadly Earth is going through a global problem that is putting the atmosphere and the whole Earth in danger; that problem is called Global Warming. Global warming is used to describe increases in the average temperature of the Earth’s atmosphere and oceans; therefore this change is believed to be rapidly changing the Earth’s climate. Global warming not only changes the atmosphere, it changes the agriculture, energy, insurance and natural security. Global warming is the topic of many controversies around the world, on one side of global warming many people believe it is caused by humans burning fossil fuels such as oil, coal and natural gas are high in carbon and when burned and produce major amounts of carbon dioxide and the atmosphere thickens with more greenhouse gases more heat held in. Another side is that global warming is caused by natural forces such as solar flares or sunspots which increase the global temperature. There are many factors that affect Earth which include global warming which can be caused by humans and natural forces.
Human causes of global warming are burning fossil fuels such as oil, coal and natural gases which cause the atmosphere to thicken with more greenhouse gases being held by heat. Human’s burn fossil fuel through the use of factories, industries and various modes of transportation. Humans create homes, farms and factories from forests and vegetation which creates carbon that is...

...l and manmade, not just one initial cause, but both causes together to create something bigger. Global warming with these two causes effect the Earth in many different aspects, such as creating drier land, inhabitable environments, reduction in resources and rapid weather change. As these factors rise for global warming, the fluctuation of weather will increase; because of the heat in the atmosphere, sea levels will rise because of the heat and less evaporation of the water. Global warming is caused by many different factors but at the top of the list would be human and natural causes because they both play major roles in the effects of global warming on the atmosphere and Earth. As these causes continue to create heat that is kept in the atmosphere global will rise and create bigger problems for the environment, resources that organisms and species need to survive.

Is Global Warming A Problem? Essay

- ... Their ability to affect the transfer of infrared energy through the atmosphere is the scientific basis of many instruments flown by NASA (The Scientific Consensus). There is no question that increased levels of greenhouse gases must cause the earth to warm in response. Ice melting in Greenland, Antarctica, and tropical mountain glaciers show that the earth’s climate responds to changes in greenhouse gas levels. They also show that in the past, large changes in climate have happened very quickly, geologically-speaking: in tens of years, not in millions or even thousands (Solar Change And Climate)....   [tags: Global warming, Climate change, Greenhouse gas]
